Mojacar Pueblo. Perched on the mountains like a crown on a monarch, overlooking a unique landscape of mountains and pastures as far as the eye can see, falling down to the beautiful coastline, Mojácar is a fascinating place for visitors. You will hear many stories about this mysterious place, but one thing that is certain, the past has had a great influence on the look and feel of this beautiful village with its small winding streets, steep hills and white washed houses.

Almeria and the Alcabza. The port city of Almeria has been
of importance for over a thousand years and has many intersting
churches, monuments and the Alcabaza perched on the hill top
over looking the city. It is made up of several different
fortifications that have been added over the years. Originally
fortified by the Cartheginian in 955 A.D. A good,
free guide to the Alcazaba, giving much more information and a clear
ground plan, can be obtained at the gate. The entrance is free to E.U
passport holders. This wonderful historical monument is open throughout

Sorbas Caves. These caves are the most important of there kind in Europe and are well worth a visit. They are located in the protected natural area of Karst in Yesos de Sorbas.
You have a choice of four routes from basic to advanced. For prices

Approximately 20 minutes drive from Mojacar. For those who do like
the heat the caves remain at a constant 21? degrees all year round.
Mini Hollywood.Mini Hollywood is a theme park and zoo set in the desert landscape of
Tabernas. Formerly a film set. Many well known westerns were shot here.
Watch one of the daily shoot outs. Cheer on the Sheriff and see some
very rough looking locals bite the dust. There is a small museum housing camera equipment,
projectors and memorabilia. As it is can be quiet hot you can enjoy a
cold beer and a snack at the Saloon whilst watching a can can show.
There is also an extensive zoo with a wide variety of animals. If

Vera Water Park. If the allure of water is still too much
then why not visit Aquatico Vera. Enjoy a fantastic day out by the beach in Vera with your family and friends. Have fun on
the great water attractions; Kamikaze, multi-slides, black holes, adventure river, tube slides, wave pool, lake pool, and for the little ones the infant pool and attractions. And also….mini-golf, super jumper, mini-park, green zones, amusement arcade.

Garrucha Karts. For those that need to get a further adrenalin
rush try go karting. Fun for all the family. Two circuits one for the juniors and larger and faster for the more adventurous.
